Amy Gammon
Amy Gammon holds a BA in Dance and a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in Dance from Lindenwood University. She is now the co-owner of Performing Arts Centre, former teacher and director for the past 15 years. She is currently an adjunct professor at Lindenwood University, where she has set numerous pieces in the dance concerts, traveled with the students to American College Dance Association teaching tap, hip hop, and yoga, along with the opportunity to choreograph Urinetown, White Christmas, Cinderella, and Carrie. She was a former director with Beyond The Stars Dance Competition for the past seven years with the continued opportunity to choreograph their opening numbers for Nationals and a part of their faculty on their dance convention circuit. Amy Gammon is a co-founder of MoSTLy TAP, a St. Louis based tap dance company. Amy has had the opportunity to choreograph three seasons for Fright Fest with Six Flags St. Louis. She is a member of Dance Masters of America, a graduate of DMA’s Teachers Training School earning the Bachna Scholarship and the Artistic Director for The DANCE CO. of St. Charles. Amy holds a strong passion for teaching, inspiring and motivating students to achieve their goals.
Alexis Green
Alexis Green is a graduate of Oklahoma City University where she earned a degree in Dance Management. While attending the university, she was a member and choreographer for the University Pep Squad and performed with the American Spirit Dance Company. Alex has studied various forms of dance in New York, L.A., Chicago, and Oklahoma. She traveled and performed with Rob Lake Magic of Oklahoma and Terry Richison’s Magic Show in St. Louis. Alex has taught all forms of dance in Oklahoma and New Jersey and has been teaching at The Performing Arts Centre in St. Charles since 2008. She has choreographed for school dance squads, competition teams, local musicals, and solo performers. Alex has taught master classes in South Carolina and St. Louis (UMSL). She has also been a judge for a touring dance competition and a local high school pom competition for several years. Alex started her training at the Performing Arts Centre and is an alumni of The DANCE CO. of St. Charles. Previously, she was the Associate Artistic Director for First Company and has served on the Board in several positions over the last decade. Alex has taken over the role of Artistic Director for Second Company and is excited and enjoys working with this group of dancers!
